Peroxygen Systems has been awarded a Phase I SBIR from the National Science Foundation. Through this award, Peroxygen is working to scale up its electrode manufacturing process, and ultimately, the electrolyzer technology.

Peroxygen Systems joins MassChallenge accelerator program

Peroxygen Systems is announced as one of the 128 early-stage startups that have been accepted into the 2017 MassChallenge Boston accelerator program. Selected by a community of more than 850 expert judges, this year’s competitive cohort represents the top 8% of applications from around the world, including 12 countries and 16 U.S. states.

Ming Qi accepted into Innovation Crossroads accelerator program

Ming Qi, Founder and CEO, is announced as a member of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Innovation Crossroads inaugural class. Innovation Crossroads is a lab-embedded entrepreneurship program that will provide research funding and business development assistance.

NREL announces Small Business Voucher recipients

Peroxygen Systems will collaborate with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory through the small business voucher program. NREL will assist in electrode manufacturing scale-up and electrolyzer stack testing.

Peroxygen Systems begins ARPA-E IDEAS seed grant

November 10, 2016

Peroxygen Systems and Tom Zawodzinski’s group in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department at the University of Tennessee begin a year-long ARPA-E project. Peroxygen and UTK are working together to produce a high performance catalyst as well as scale up an electrolyzer stack for generating hydrogen peroxide.
